2. Information we collect
- Account & access: email, ZIP code, interest role, optional note, authentication codes and magic links.
- Product activity: saved cars, lists, searches, alert preferences, and hunt-profile answers when you use those features.
- Community submissions: closed-deal reports or showcase content you choose to submit, subject to moderation and your display choices.
- Optional commercial fields: mobile number, buy timeline, and whether you consent to introductions to Porsche centers with matching inventory. Partner introductions occur only with that consent.
- Email communications: email (and optional ZIP) if you join digests or request service messages.
- Technical logs: first-party page views, approximate time spent on pages (visible-tab dwell), product events with an opaque session id, and standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability. We do not operate third-party advertising trackers on the site today. Optional product analytics (e.g. Microsoft Clarity) may be enabled by configuration; when enabled, that provider processes usage data under its terms.
- Public listing data: vehicle inventory from public sources for research — not personal data about you.
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve acquisition intelligence, accounts, alerts, and member access.
- Send verification links, access codes, digests, and service notices you request or that are necessary to operate your account.
- Conduct aggregate research and product improvement.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce terms, and meet legal obligations.
- With your explicit consent, facilitate introductions to Porsche centers with matching inventory.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where required (e.g. GDPR-style regimes), we process data to perform the service you request (contract), with your consent where required (e.g. certain marketing or partner introductions), and for legitimate interests in operating a secure research product — balanced against your rights.
5. Sharing
We may share data with infrastructure providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, analytics if enabled), under contractual confidentiality and use restrictions. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service. We do not share your email with dealers without a clear, consented flow built for that purpose.
6. Retention
Account and signup data are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution, and bookkeeping. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing us. Transactional and security logs may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form.
7. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing digests via the link in each email (transactional messages may still be sent).

- Update commercial preferences (partner introductions, phone, buy window) in Your setup when signed in.
- California / similar US state laws: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights of access, deletion, or correction.
8. Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including HTTPS, hashed access codes, and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. International users
The service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed in the US and other locations where our providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be called out in-product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
