Warranty and inspection first — price second.
- CPO is factory-backed inspection + limited warranty, not a guarantee of a good deal.
- Still verify options vs sticker, battery story, service history, and same-trim comps.
- Filter inventory to Certified Pre-Owned and sort by score or discount — never CPO alone.
Options that matter
A few packages move range, feel, and resale. The rest is taste.
- Usually worth it: Performance Battery Plus, Sport Chrono, Adaptive Air, Rear Axle Steering.
- Climate/city: ventilated seats (hot), Surround View / RAS (dense parking), AWD in cold/wet.
- Compare equipment-adjusted — a naked car at a “low” price can still be expensive.
Depreciation
Don't predict the bottom — buy a good car at a price that makes sense vs today's comps.
