Everything you see is asking-price intelligence — estimates learned from what sellers are asking, options-adjusted against comparable listings via The Hunter Score™, The Taycan Hunter’s proprietary acquisition-intelligence scoring formula. It is not an appraisal and not an expected sale price. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Internal calibration is confidential intellectual property and is not published for reuse.

We mean the "use at your own risk" part, because we watch the data: the Taycan is one of the fastest-depreciating major Porsche models, and individual cars can lose value faster than their peers depending on trim, mileage, options, battery health and the wider EV market. A value estimate is a snapshot of a moving market — it can be wrong tomorrow, and the market can move against you between when you look and when you buy or sell. Listing data is scraped from a single source — the US Porsche Finder listing site — and is often incomplete, stale, or simply wrong — much of the fleet carries data-quality caveats we flag openly. Options shown as "not stated" may still be present; a price seen today may already be gone. Verify everything independently — condition, accident and title history, battery state of health, CPO coverage, and the actual out-the-door price — with the dealer and a Porsche Center before you act.

Being blunt about risk doesn't mean being careless with method. Taycan Hunter is governed by a published Statistical & Methods Standard: every important number must trace to the vehicle, calculation, claim, or source behind it; estimates carry their uncertainty and effective sample size; a figure is labelled verified, reported, or a community signal; and any new model has to beat a simple baseline on unseen data before it can move a recommendation. Our facts are kept to an evidence discipline — we never merge EPA and real-world range, gross and usable battery capacity, or nominal and Launch-Control power, and we never present an asking-price estimate as a completed sale.
